2012
Sonos pioneered and is still the undisputed leader of multi-room wireless HiFi. In 2012, GRO collaborated on a strategic project to reinvent their industrial design across their entire portfolio.
The aim of the Next Generation project was to define the best possible experience at the intersection of music, technology, people and the home. It resulted in very refined product concepts and clear guidelines that formed a solid foundation for upcoming Sonos products.

While GRO finalized Boost, Sonos Design took over developing Play:5 for production. Their deep understanding of the design intent and ‘go for gold’ tenacity led to a truly beautiful and successful product.
