The increasing volume of commuting traffic is having a major impact on the environment and the quality of urban life. Encouraged by then-recent advances in rechargeable battery technology, we initiated a project to develop a clean and stylish solution for daily commuting needs, at the same time giving the electric scooter its own unique identity and appeal.
The aim was to make Scoot simple and intuitive to use.
The footboard and tire profile add a highly distinctive signature.
Digital, pure and simple
Milan Furniture Fair
Scoot was presented at the Milan Furniture Fair in 2006 and received an overwhelmingly positive response. Scoot has been exhibited worldwide and still attracts global consumer interest.
City rental
As part of the project we envisioned a service model where charged Scoots would be available throughout cities and rented only when needed. The simplicity of the surfaces makes Scoot ideal for displaying corporate sponsorship to help support the initiative.
